Well hello! I haven’t written a post since 2021, and a lot can happen in 5 years! Whether you’re new here or not, I’ll introduce myself, I’m Bryanna! I’m going into my fourth year as an occupational therapist working in the schools. I currently work in a public high school and work in a transition program as well.
Since my last post I:
- Completed Fieldworks IA, IB, and IC and Fieldworks IIA and IIB
- Completed my Capstone internship and presented my project
- Graduated from OT school
- Passed my NBCOT exam (on the first try!)
- Applied and interviewed at a variety of schools and outpatient clinics
- Worked two years at a therapeutic day school
- Decided to apply to a public school and became an OT for the district
- Working part-time in a pediatric outpatient clinic
- Mentor prospective OT students
All while attempting to maintain occupational balance, keeping up with my health and wellness, spending time with family and friends, & travel.
I want to continue to connect with current OTs, healthcare workers, and prospective students. I decided to attempt to share some more of my current journey and start this back up again!
